Features: To fully implement the National Education Revitalization Action Plan, under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Education, we conducted multiple enthusiastic and comprehensive discussions with professors and experts from over 20 universities in the province on the reform of teaching methods and textbook development for the secretarial major. It was unanimously agreed that teaching in college secretarial programs should enhance the relevance and integration of talent cultivation with economic and social development. Further reforms should be made in talent cultivation models, curriculum systems, teaching content, and methods to improve teaching quality, absorb the latest theoretical achievements of secretarial programs both domestically and internationally, and gradually establish a teaching model that combines forward-looking quality education with innovative education. This will focus on creating a brand of secretarial textbooks with accurate positioning, high rigor, and distinctive features.
To align with the provincial government's strategies of "Science and Education Revitalizing Anhui" and "Strengthening the Province through Talent," as well as the need for further strengthening the basic construction of higher education institutions by the Provincial Department of Education, we selected 14 courses from the secretarial major across the province. Experienced professors and associate professors with high academic levels were appointed as chief and deputy chief editors for each textbook, and this series was developed and published. The goal is to contribute to the construction of provincial and national excellent courses, provide high-quality teaching resources, and help advance the teaching and learning of the secretarial major in the province to a standardized and scientific track. This will cultivate a group of highly skilled discipline leaders and lead the secretarial major teaching into the forefront in China.
The writing of this textbook follows the guidelines of the National Occupational Standard for Secretaries and the requirements of the Ministry of Education's secretarial major, emphasizing relevance, systematicity, skillfulness, practicality, and innovation. This book is one of the modern secretarial premium series textbooks. It follows the guidelines of the National Occupational Standard for Secretaries and the Ministry of Education's secretarial major requirements, targeting the modern secretarial major and filling the gap in higher secretarial textbooks both within the province and nationally.
In terms of its overall structure, the textbook strengthens the proportion of practical teaching, meticulously designs the content and methods of course training, and emphasizes the combination of foundational learning and creative practice. This enables students to quickly acquire the basic knowledge and practical skills required for the secretarial profession, while also laying a solid foundation for their graduation, job hunting, and on-the-job operations.
