Features: Social gender studies have received increasing attention in Chinese universities and some research institutions in recent years. Through years of teaching and research, the authors and co-authors of this book have accumulated knowledge. To better carry out teaching and research on social gender in the future, we have jointly written this book. The basic framework and outline of the entire book were undertaken by Su Hong, and she also co-authored some chapters with other authors. Xu Xiaoling, a teaching assistant from the Department of Political Science, School of Humanities and Economics, Hefei University of Technology, and Wang Lingping and Liu Shujiao, master's students from the Department of Sociology, Shanghai University, participated in the writing of this book. The specific writing arrangements are as follows: Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 were written by Xu Xiaoling and Su Hong; Chapter 2 and Chapter 5 were written by Xu Xiaoling; Chapter 4 was written by Wang Lingping and Su Hong; Chapter 6 and Chapter 9 were written by Wang Lingping; Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 were written by Liu Shujiao. The book was compiled, revised, supplemented, and finalized by Su Hong.
