Ursulin has been stopped for 3 days, is the menstruation normal?

Patient's question:

I went to the hospital for a follow-up ultrasound 8 days after my painless abortion, and the results were normal. The doctor said to come back for another check-up in a month. However, on the 16th day, I had bright red blood similar to menstruation. The symptoms were almost the same, so I went to the hospital for another check-up. The doctor said that if it was my period, it was due to my not taking Urofollitropin on schedule. I had stopped taking Urofollitropin for 3 days. Is this my period? Is it normal?

Doctor's answer:

Hello: This medication is a cycle-regulating drug. Each bottle should contain a 21-day supply, followed by a 7-day break before starting the next cycle.
Guidelines:
If you have your period after stopping the medication for three days, follow the 7-day interval principle. Then, start the next course of treatment four days later.
This adjustment allows for artificial cycle therapy.
