Features: In recent years, with the establishment of many middle school bands, more and more students studying the viola are hoping for examination opportunities for the viola as well. We believe this is a great idea. It will play a positive role in popularizing the study of the viola and improving its performance level. Considering the current reality that most students studying the viola have previously learned the violin to a certain extent before switching to the viola, we have decided to start the examination levels from Grade 8, including Grades 8, 9, 10, and Performance Level, and have accordingly set the corresponding repertoire. Whether this approach is appropriate can be adjusted based on actual conditions in the future.
At the end, we sincerely hope that the examinations are not solely for (utilitarian purposes) but serve as a test of our learning process. Through the examinations, we hope to inspire young musicians to develop a deeper love for music and the viola, allowing this beautiful instrument to perform moving music and truly fulfill its role in cultivating character and enriching our lives.
