Features: The era of silence being golden is gone; now, negotiation is the key to winning! The world is a huge negotiation arena, whether you like it or not, you are a participant. We are living in this "negotiation era," where almost everything in our lives and work is related to some form of negotiation. Everyone negotiates with others every day, and it seems we have grown accustomed to negotiation, often being immersed in it without even realizing it. Whether you are a nation, government, company, husband, wife, parent, or child, no matter what role you play, you will inevitably be involved in some form of negotiation. In other words, in both work and life, you must negotiate at every turn—far more than you realize. If you refuse, you will fail. Negotiation, in short, is a process where, in a relative sense between two parties, you adjust your "views" from "ideal" to "feasible." Negotiation can be integrated into our lives, helping us think and also resolving conflicts. We Chinese people have traditionally been too afraid to face conflicts, so we neither understand conflicts nor know how to alleviate or resolve them. Especially in the context of increasingly rapid social change and growing interactions and friction of interests, the way to solve problems is through negotiation, and the advantage lies in negotiation power. Negotiation is the key to winning. Look around, the winners in life and career are always those who not only have competitiveness but are also skilled in negotiation, adept at negotiation techniques, and possess negotiation power. However, what surprises us is that so far, there has been no universal theory to guide daily negotiation activities. We are forced to learn from our mistakes, repeatedly grasping negotiation through the same methods, only making slow progress after paying a series of expensive "tuition." This is precisely the practical significance of this book.
