Introduction to Managerial Economics: A Collection of Academic Masterpieces by Nobel Prize Winners in Economics

Features: This book is not just a microeconomics textbook with a different name. In this book, I only introduce economic theories that are directly relevant to managers. Therefore, there is little discussion of market equilibrium. Instead, this book focuses on topics such as price discrimination, peak-load pricing, costs, and output patterns over time. On the other hand, this book is not a textbook for management either. All the content comes from economics. No one thinks these economic theories are only relevant to modern business managers. However, I believe the content of this book is valuable to business managers, even though it can only serve as a starting point for more complex research. Recent literature on management, regulation, control of large organizations, and information theory fully illustrates this point. The purpose of writing this book is to independently address the economic aspects of computer management. To provide an analytical framework for the problems faced by computer management, a thorough description of the basic elements of management economics is necessary.
