Features: The frame structure design of traditional Chinese timber architecture makes windows one of the most important compositional elements in traditional Chinese buildings, becoming the aesthetic center of the architecture. This book starts with the characteristics of Chinese architecture, explaining various types of window lattices such as board lattices, louvered screens, partitions, hinged windows, and shade windows through numerous illustrations, along with practical examples from hotels, restaurants, and home renovations. It also includes the market distribution and reference prices of window lattices, making it a specialized work on traditional window lattices. The structural forms of Chinese window lattices are closely related to the characteristics of Chinese architecture. Chinese architecture, along with Egyptian architecture, Western Asian architecture, Indian architecture, Aegean architecture, and American architecture, forms the six major systems of world ancient architecture. The author spent two years traveling to regions such as Jiangnan, Huizhou, Shanxi, and Beijing to take photographs, compiling them into this book. He also conducted research and analysis on the names, styles, types, and functions of windows, and listed the market distribution and reference prices of window lattices, providing valuable materials for the study and collection of window lattices.
