Features: This book consists of eight chapters covering esophageal diseases, gastric diseases, duodenal diseases, small intestinal diseases, large intestinal diseases, liver diseases, biliary and pancreatic diseases, and other diseases, encompassing 100 uncommon diseases of the digestive system. It strives to provide a systematic and comprehensive introduction to each disease, fully reflecting the latest advancements in related research at home and abroad in recent years. Some chapters include illustrations to facilitate a more intuitive reading experience. During the writing process, we noted that with the development of science and technology and the improvement of people's living standards, the spectrum of digestive diseases has changed. Diseases that were once rare, such as ischemic colitis, have been increasing in incidence year by year and are no longer uncommon in major hospitals, yet they are rarely diagnosed in hospitals below the intermediate level. Therefore, they are still included in this book. On the other hand, diseases that were once more common, such as biliary ascariasis, have become rare in large city hospitals due to improved hygiene conditions and are also included in this book. Most of the authors who participated in writing this book are middle-aged and young scholars from Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University. They have long been engaged in clinical practice, are full of energy, think actively, have strong abilities in reading foreign languages, and have long been involved in related basic theories and clinical research. The chapters in this book were all written by them based on their practical work experience. It is our honor that during the preparation phase of this book, we received enthusiastic support from many renowned experts in the field of gastroenterology in Beijing. Among them, Professor Yang Zhaoxu, Professor Wang Huigui, Professor Wang Shixin, Professor Liu Bin, Professor Wan Xiaoping, Professor Lan Yu, and Professor Zhang Xiaojin, among others, kindly contributed to writing chapters for this book, greatly enriching its content.
