How to know the quality of eggs?

Patient's question:

Age
Detailed medical history and consultation purpose: I have undergone several IVF procedures, and there were many follicles each time. The doctor examined the ultrasound and said the appearance was good, but the embryo quality was poor, leading to failure. Recently, I had a hysteroscopy, which showed no issues. I had a hysterectomy due to endometriosis. In my last IVF, no cysts were found, but the CA125 level was 50.09 (normal value is 35).
Spouse's sperm analysis: Normal morphology accounted for 3% (normal value is 15%), and A+B grade accounted for 16%. However, the doctor said that since I underwent intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), the poor quality would not significantly affect the outcome. Some doctors mentioned that sperm quality has been declining for over 30 years.

Doctor's answer:

1. When women approach their ovulation period, their vaginal discharge becomes clearer, resembling mucus, and can stretch. Such discharge is beneficial for conception. However, some women may have less transparent or cloudy discharge, which is not conducive to pregnancy.
2. At the hospital, there are many testing methods available, such as cervical mucus testing, vaginal smears, hormone measurements, and ultrasound to assess ovarian function. These tests can evaluate follicular development and ovulation status, thereby determining the quality of the eggs.
