What is the reason for my temperature rise after ovulation?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: My temperature rises to 37 degrees or higher after ovulation, but this time, two days after ovulation, my temperature is still between 36.7 and 36.8, without an increase. Could this be due to luteal phase deficiency? If I am pregnant, is this possible?

Doctor's answer:

??????Hello: Under normal circumstances, the body temperature slightly decreases during ovulation, usually by about 0.2 degrees. It then rises to around 37 degrees after ovulation and remains at this level until the next menstrual period, when it returns to the original temperature level.
A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. Starting from the first day of the next menstrual period, count backward 14 days or subtract 14 days to find the ovulation day. The ovulation day, plus the 5 days before it and the 4 days after it, together constitute the fertile window.
