Chapters 1–3 introduce the national standards for CAD engineering-drafting and chemical engineering drafting, as well as the original Ministry of Chemical Industry standards for chemical engineering process flow diagrams. The basic processes and methods for creating chemical engineering process flow diagrams are also covered. Chapters 4–8 take the application software development for creating chemical engineering process flow diagrams as an example, introducing the application of AutoCAD secondary development technology in the design and drawing of menu interfaces, help systems, drawing sheet sizes, title block creation and filling, and the programming design of drawing commands for equipment, pipelines, and instrument components. The book includes a substantial number of examples and related source programs. All the source programs in the book have been tested and verified on the AutoCAD 2002 platform. It can serve as a reference for chemical engineering process design, software development, and related industry technical personnel, as well as a textbook or teaching reference for students in relevant undergraduate and associate degree programs.
