Etiology of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Patient's question:

Only came once, came to the hospital to get a shot. At first, I thought it was a minor issue and didn't pay much attention. Later, when I turned 18, I found out that I could take a regulation medicine, and it worked when I took it, but didn't work when I didn't. Later, I went to the hospital for a check-up and was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. The doctor prescribed me to take Dian 35, and I took it for half a year. ```When I was taking the medicine, everything was normal, but now that I'm not taking it, it doesn't come anymore. What should I do?
Past Treatment and Effect: It was normal when I was taking the medicine, but didn't work when I wasn't.
Help Needed: I've been married for 4 years and have always wanted a baby.

Doctor's answer:

Hello, some of this is congenital, and I recommend surgical treatment. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common complex endocrine and metabolic disorder in women of reproductive age. It is characterized by chronic anovulation (disruption or loss of ovulation function) and hyperandrogenism (excess production of male hormones in women). The main clinical manifestations include irregular menstrual cycles, infertility, hirsutism and/or acne, and it is the most common endocrine disorder in women. It is recommended that detailed regulation is necessary regardless of whether there are current fertility requirements, as it can not only maintain a normal menstrual cycle but also benefit future conception.
