But when they face sudden changes in fate, Ruozhen chooses to retreat, leaving Haojun to face everything alone.
The other protagonist, Huimin, sacrifices his dignity and character to stay in the provincial capital. When he finally loses everything, he does not sink into despair. Through a series of choices, he falls in love and marries a widow who sells meat, finding his anchor in life and beginning a new chapter.
A roller coaster is a game. In the brief, abrupt changes between the sky and the ground, the roller coaster carries the souls of countless people out of their bodies and back to reality. The life trajectories of Haojun, Ruozhen, and Huimin are like a roaring roller coaster, intertwining happiness and sorrow, warmth and coldness.
