Patient's question:
A week ago! Leukorrhea like curd! Vulvar itching! Hefei Changzheng Minimally Invasive HospitalDoctor's answer:
In your case, it might be a fungal vaginal infection. Patients with fungal vaginal infection often experience increased vaginal discharge, itching and burning sensation in the external genitalia and vagina, painful urination, and redness and swelling around the external genitalia. The skin changes can vary widely; they may develop as shallow blisters and papules in clusters, or form eczema-like erosions that are limited to the external genitalia or extend to the perineum, around the anus, and into the groin folds, resembling acute or subacute eczema completely. The labia and the area around the clitoris may show thickened mucosa, with redness and erosion on the skin surfaces that are in contact. In some cases, small white pustules may develop, and in severe cases, ulcers, pain in the external genitalia, and local lymph node enlargement may occur. A solution of sodium bicarbonate can be used for external washing, which may be effective to some extent.
