Flow of people after bleeding stomach pain and waist acid how to relieve

Patient's question:

I had a painless abortion on November 15th, and I felt okay. The bleeding decreased significantly the next day and was almost gone. However, after eating longans at night, the bleeding increased again the following day and has continued for almost a week now, though not excessively. The first time I had an abortion, the bleeding stopped within two or three days, but it came with abdominal pain, similar to postpartum uterine contractions. This time, there has been no such pain. I’m not sure what the normal duration of bleeding is. Is this normal? The lower back pain I experienced after giving birth has not improved yet. Is there anything I can do about it?

Doctor's answer:

Post-abortion lower back pain may be caused by some clots flowing into the pelvic cavity during the procedure and getting blocked there, or by slight movement of the uterus due to scraping, which compresses the nerves in the lower back. Additionally, post-abortion lower back pain could be an external symptom of gynecological diseases, such as pelvic inflammatory disease or severe cervical erosion.
After an abortion, it is recommended to rest for 2 weeks, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the external genital area, avoid spicy and irritating foods, and consume nutrient-rich foods to help the body recover quickly. Post-abortion, sexual activity, sitz baths, vaginal irrigation, and medication should be avoided until menstruation resumes.
