Complete blood count check lymphocyte percentage is low what to do

Patient's question:

Placental maturity is grade 2, a bit worried if it's premature. Complete blood count shows red blood cell mean corpuscular volume (MCV) is 96.2, which is high; neutrophil percentage is 76.3, which is high; lymphocyte percentage is 17.3, which is low. I want to ask the doctor if there is any serious problem.

Doctor's answer:

I indicates the early stage of placental maturity, with uniform echoes, visible at 30~32 weeks of pregnancy;
II indicates that the placenta is approaching maturity;
III suggests that the placenta has matured.
The closer to term, the more mature the placenta becomes, and the more uneven the echoes.
Generally, a grade of 2 after 32 weeks is normal, and subsequent ultrasounds should be monitored closely. If it reaches grade 3, delivery should be expedited, as nutrient supply may no longer be sufficient.
