1-3 Level tests are all in the form of Q&A, covering topics related to students' study and life, such as personal background, family, hometown, campus life, hobbies, and social issues.
The second part of the 1st Level test is short passage reading. The book provides 30 passages, each with 140-160 words, with difficulty comparable to or slightly lower than that of college English textbooks. The 4th Level test follows the format of the National College English Test Band 4 and 6 Oral English Examination. The test consists of three parts: Q&A, card (picture) description, and group discussion with Q&A.
