Strategic Rationality Model

Author: Reinhard Selten (Germany)
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-06-24
Features: To the best of my knowledge, this series is the first attempt to systematically publish the important works of all award winners. The publication of the series itself holds great significance, and its release in China carries an even deeper meaning. I hope its publication will not only contribute to the development of economics but also directly promote the development of China's economy.
Swedish Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences Committee — Torsten Persson
This book compiles 12 classic papers by the author on game theory, divided into four parts. Part I consists of three papers on the development of game theory itself, including the famous concept of " trembling-hand perfect equilibrium," which was proposed in one of these papers. It represents a deepening and improvement of the Nash equilibrium. Part II contains four papers on the application of game theory, fully demonstrating the powerful analytical capabilities and broad applicability of game theory. Part III features two papers that focus on cooperative game theory. The fourth part, "Experimental Economics," includes three papers by the author on the research findings of game experiments. This book is an important literature in the study of game theory, reflecting the author's outstanding contributions to non-cooperative game theory and the development of game theory, as well as indicating the future direction of the field. Target Audience: Economics students and faculty, economic theorists, scholars, and researchers.
