Did I need to do NT screening and then also do the T screen?

Patient's question:

I am very scared when this happens. I often have lower abdominal pain and don't know how to solve it, so I came here to consult. Please ask if I still need to do the NT test after it.

Doctor's answer:

B and prenatal screening are not the same thing. Prenatal screening is used to determine the likelihood of your baby having Down syndrome (a blood test), while ultrasound is simply used to check if the baby looks normal externally. Prenatal screening examines the baby from a congenital and blood perspective to rule out the possibility of Down syndrome. Generally, doctors recommend that women with risk factors for prenatal complications maintain a balanced diet, avoid spicy and stimulating foods, and stay away from cold foods. Additionally, patients should create an environment that promotes emotional stability and stress relief. Wishing the patient a healthy delivery.
