Patient's question:
Approximately a month ago, I started experiencing stomach pain, and bleeding occurred before my menstrual period was due. Currently, the bleeding is not heavy, but it hasn't reached the amount of a normal menstrual period. It lasted for about two days and gradually stopped, just a little at a time. During my actual menstrual period, everything returned to normal.Doctor's answer:
The symptoms of uterine leiomyosarcoma are non-specific and similar to those of general female genital tumors, making preoperative diagnosis difficult. A history of uterine fibroids, rapid uterine enlargement, especially after menopause not only failing to shrink but instead continuously growing, irregular vaginal bleeding around menopause or in young girls accompanied by uterine enlargement, patients who have previously undergone radiotherapy, sudden uterine enlargement accompanied by abnormal vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain symptoms, should consider the possibility of uterine sarcoma. Uterine enlargement with polypoid or lobulated necrotic tissue at the cervix should be considered for the possibility of endometrial stromal sarcoma and malignant mixed müllerian tumor.
