Features: According to the requirements and commission of the People's Medical Publishing House, the authors compiled and illustrated the "Practical Head Acupuncture Meridian Atlas" and its accompanying explanations, presented in both Chinese and English for reference in learning head acupuncture and medical education. To meet the needs of different readers and various occasions, the atlas is printed in two versions: a large format and a large 16K format, for reader selection. The large format atlas consists of 3 sheets. It includes 7 diagrams of the "International Standard Acupuncture Point Names · International Standard Head Acupuncture Meridian Names" published by the World Health Organization, 2 diagrams of head acupuncture techniques, 3 diagrams of important central areas of the cerebral cortex, the structure and layers of the scalp, and the blood vessels and nerves of the scalp (top of the head). Additionally, it includes 6 diagrams of Jiao Shunfa's head acupuncture stimulation zones for current practitioners to use and to facilitate alignment with international standards. The large 16K format atlas contains 18 color illustrations, with the same arrangement order as the large format atlas. The explanations are divided into 6 chapters. The brief history of head acupuncture, head acupuncture theory, and the relevant anatomy and physiology of head acupuncture belong to the foundational section; while the location and indications of head acupuncture points, treatment methods, and clinical applications belong to the clinical application section, both of which are complementary and easy to understand. For convenience in reading and application, the explanations include line diagrams. In addition to the international standard head acupuncture meridians, the relevant meridian points, extra-meridian points, and Jiao Shunfa's head acupuncture stimulation zones are also discussed.
