Introduction This book is based on the "Principles and Interface Technology of Microcontrollers" published by Beihang University Press in 1994. It has been revised and updated based on feedback from various aspects over the past four years, with many outdated content removed and replaced with new content. More than 50% of the content in the book has been changed. While preserving the essence of the original book, the author has appropriately compressed and adjusted the content, striving to make it more systematic and concise. The book is divided into eleven chapters, providing an in-depth yet accessible introduction to the principles, interfaces, and application technologies of the 8051 microcontroller and the 89C51 series microcontrollers. The main contents include: knowledge of microcontroller peripheral chips, the composition and working process of microcomputers, the structure and principles of the 8051, its instruction set, system configuration and interface technology, practical program design examples, communication principles and C language programming, and the principles and applications of 80C552, 89C51, and 89C2051, which are compatible with the 8051. The book is rich in content, novel, easy to understand, and practical, making it suitable for self-study. It can be used as a textbook for undergraduate and college students in higher education institutions and also serves as a reference for engineering technicians engaged in microcontroller product development.
