Features: The issue of social assistance can be said not to be a new one. However, in the past decade or so, the term "social assistance" has appeared very frequently in China's social and economic life, attracting continuous public attention, and the social assistance for vulnerable groups has become one of the major social issues during China's transition period. How to innovate the legal system of social assistance in light of the actual development of China's social and economic life is a challenge. This book is revised based on the author's doctoral dissertation. The author actively responds to the practical needs of improving the legal system of social assistance in society, and the doctoral dissertation is of significant theoretical and practical importance. The paper adopts methods such as historical analysis, comparative analysis, economic analysis, and legal analysis, providing a comprehensive, systematic, and in-depth discussion of some fundamental issues of the legal system of social assistance from multiple levels, including concepts, systems, and legislation. The paper is well-supported by references, has a rigorous structure, clear and fluent language, sufficient arguments, correct viewpoints, and standardized writing, demonstrating that it was independently completed by the author. This indicates the author's solid legal foundation and expertise in economic law, especially a deep understanding of the issues in this research field. The book reflects the author's innovative thinking in many aspects, particularly in the following three areas: First, from the perspective of economic law; second, from a multidisciplinary and multidimensional approach; and third, it proposes a framework for the "Social Assistance Law," which can serve as a reference for legislation.
