Features: Dedicated to college students and friends who are about to enter university! If high school is likened to a narrow bridge, then university is undoubtedly a multi-level interchange. When crossing a narrow bridge, you don’t need to determine the direction in advance—just walk steadily forward to reach the destination. However, crossing a multi-level interchange is different. If your direction is unclear or you choose the wrong path, you may fail to reach the destination, or even if you reach it through hard work, you’ll reluctantly realize that the outcome is not what you expected. University is not a paradise, nor is it a safe harbor where you can waste your youth or escape societal pressures. University is the prelude to career planning—it requires you to take it seriously! Instead of regretfully saying to yourself after four years, “If I could relive these four years, I would,” it’s better to plan ahead and take the initiative. This book records the real life journeys of 17 young people who graduated from university within five years, sharing their college experiences, job search stories, and entrepreneurial journeys. It showcases their diverse approaches to college life, their different attitudes toward their studies and careers, their varying values regarding academic and professional issues, and the resulting developmental outcomes: some succeeded, some failed, some were striving, and some were lost. Several seasoned experts from the fields of career counseling and training have reviewed the college careers and professional development of the 17 protagonists, offering practical advice on the challenges they faced. The saying goes, “The past serves as a guide for the future.” The varied life journeys of these 17 senior classmates act like 17 mirrors, and we believe college students will surely see their own reflections in them. The professional insights of these seasoned career advisors are also expected to provide life-changing guidance for college students.
