What are the symptoms of biochemical pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially around my period days. I'm very worried it might affect fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with biochemical pregnancy?

Doctor's answer:

Biochemical pregnancy refers to the fusion of sperm and egg. Generally, after seven days of fertilization, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is secreted. Seven days later, a pregnancy test can detect it. Often, the sperm and egg combine and secrete hCG, but they must form a zygote. The zygote must return to the uterus for implantation. A biochemical pregnancy is when the combination occurs, but the zygote does not return to the uterus for implantation, or it returns but fails to implant. This is called a biochemical pregnancy.
