:This is a magnificent picture book. When you first encounter the setting of Cang Yue's "Mirror" series, it's as if you're immersed in a kaleidoscope. It's a world that may not be vast, but it's colorful, ever-changing, and a painting that can only be woven with broad knowledge as the warp and the meticulousness of a female author as the weft. Jiang Nan's review of "Mirror: Breaking the Army" makes one forget what color to describe it. If one must say, it is: as heavy and desolate as the Gobi Desert in Zhejiang Province, and the splendor and brilliance on the desert seem to be comparable only to the red thorn flower. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet—who holds the colorful ribbons dancing in the sky? When the moon rises from the horizon of the sea and sky with a softer and more majestic demeanor, I believe you will be moved as I am. In fact, the moon is inherently clear, which is why it can hold the colorful ribbons and dance in the sky.
:The world of Yunhuang is ever-changing and impermanent, brilliant and magnificent. Every time I finish reading, I silently wait, hoping the next chapter will come sooner.
:This is something I rarely see in other novels—the boundaries between right and wrong are not absolute. The affairs of the human world are just like fireworks, brilliant but fleeting. However, I still linger on Yunhuang, whether it is bloody or magnificent. The people of Kongling Valley are moving and heart-stirring, just like Yunhuan, who has a strong desire to let out a loud roar after being suppressed for a long time. The root is oneself, and the trigger is your words. "A man is born when I am not yet born, and I am born when he is already old." I look forward to it.
:The fantasy world in Cang Yue's works often features handsome and beautiful characters as if they have stepped out of a manga. Therefore, her martial world is more like an unbelievable dream—mysterious, eerie, lingering, and delicate.
:Women's innate subtlety and sensitivity add tenderness to Cang Yue's martial arts. Her "love" includes family love, friendship, and love, as well as national hatred, family grievances, life and death partings, all hidden deep within the complex inner hearts of her characters. They are contradictory and sorrowful, ordinary yet real, thought-provoking.
:"Breaking the Army is the seventh star of the Big Dipper. Legend has it that every three hundred years, there is a fierce explosion, brighter than the full moon." To retrieve the Ruyizhu lost after the crash of the Garula, Yunhuan and his merman puppet Xiang come to the Northern Sand Country. Yunhuan encounters his childhood friend from the Hotu tribe, who has now become his enemy. The Hotu tribe's sorcerer secretly casts a curse on Yunhuan's Chiduo, causing him to be attacked by bird spirits and sand demons, nearly being devoured by the eerie sand demons. Fortunately, his master, the sword sage of Konglang, Mu Yin, arrives in time to rescue him.
