Features: This book is a work that introduces the establishment of kinematic and dynamic models of mechanisms, program calculations, optimization methods for main parameters, and applications. It establishes and proposes basic rules and general methods for mechanism analysis, explores the solution methods for dynamic equations, and derives and establishes rod dynamic equations applicable to this method. The analysis covers mechanisms ranging from simple to complex, from planar to spatial, including cam mechanisms, composite mechanisms, and several typical transmission mechanisms. Typical examples of common mechanisms, including printing, textile, agricultural, and processing machinery, are analyzed in terms of kinematics and dynamics. For dynamic analysis, except for a few exceptions, the author's proposed dynamic equation solution method is applied. This book conducts exploratory research on the analysis methods of mechanisms, particularly dynamic analysis methods. In mechanism synthesis, it utilizes the visual characteristics of the VB or VC platform and adopts a man-machine dialogue method for parameter optimization of mechanisms. It proposes a composite optimization method, applying the kinematic and dynamic models of mechanisms to parameter optimization. This book can serve as a required or elective textbook for senior undergraduate and graduate students in mechanical engineering disciplines in higher education institutions, as well as a reference for relevant teachers, researchers, and engineering technicians engaged in mechanical design.
