Chinese grammar analysis problem

Author: Lü Shuxiang

Publish Date: 2005-09-01
Features: The smooth progress of grammar research relies on two key aspects: one is to extensively investigate actual usage cases, and the other is to continuously revisit and refine problems, examining whether they might be explored from a new perspective or with deeper insight, and whether one issue's exploration may trigger another. The purpose of this article is to present problems. Once the problems are raised, sometimes a few viewpoints are offered for comparison; at other times, the author's own opinions are presented merely as tentative suggestions for reference. These opinions are somewhat scattered and lack coherence. Few can truly be called the author's "original insights." Some have been mentioned by many others, and no attribution is needed; others are only vaguely remembered as having been said by someone, but the source book or article cannot be traced. Therefore, it is hereby stated in general: no intention of claiming credit for others' ideas. The book was originally written as a paper. Although its current length cannot be accommodated in a journal and can only be published as a small booklet.
