Metabolic syndrome is preventable and treatable. Increasing awareness, treatment rates, and control rates of metabolic syndrome can reduce its incidence, mortality, and disability rates. Preventing and treating metabolic syndrome is a major task for improving people's physical health. This book aims to popularize understanding of metabolic syndrome, promote a scientific lifestyle, and achieve the goals of prevention, treatment, and improvement of metabolic syndrome.
