Features: "Basic Japanese Course" (～4 volumes) is a series of textbooks for Japanese foundation courses in Japanese departments of universities, developed by the Japanese Department of Beijing Second Foreign Languages College according to the "Teaching Syllabus for the Basic Stage of Japanese Majors in Higher Education Institutions" issued by the Ministry of Education. It is designed for four semesters for first and second-year students. The textbook development was included in the "Philosophical and Social Science Planning Project of Beijing in 2000 · Beijing Municipal Education Commission Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project" of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The entire book contains approximately 7,500 words, 630 sentence patterns, and the basic grammar knowledge necessary to master the fundamental skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation in Japanese. The textbook draws on the strengths of similar textbooks from domestic and foreign institutions and adopts new achievements in Japanese language research both domestically and internationally. The content reflects the spirit of the times, is close to life, and adheres to standardized language usage. It emphasizes listening and speaking skills first, focuses on combining the teaching of language knowledge with the cultivation of moral and cultural qualities, and pays attention to improving students' practical language skills.
