How to determine if you have secondary infertility symptoms?

Patient's question:

Normal menstruation, usually two to three days early each month, with light flow that lasts only three or four days. In the past six months, I haven't used any contraception. I've had an abortion under anesthesia and am afraid it might cause secondary infertility.

Doctor's answer:

Hello, not being pregnant after living together for half a year without contraception does not qualify as infertility. Advice: Your hormones are normal, and your menstrual cycle is normal. You can try again by calculating the exact ovulation period. You can buy ovulation monitoring tools to track ovulation or have an ultrasound at the hospital to monitor follicles to determine the ovulation period. Having intercourse a few days before and after ovulation increases the chances of pregnancy. If ovulation is normal and you still haven't conceived after several months, it's time to check your fallopian tubes.
