Features: With the continuous promotion and implementation of China's "Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards," various versions of the new curriculum standards English textbooks have emerged, accompanied by diverse English teaching philosophies and methods. Among them, the task-based teaching model advocated by the renowned American David Nunan, Ph.D., has a significant influence in the current international field of language teaching and research. His edited series, Go for it! "English Reading and Expression," guided by the new curriculum standards, takes topics and functions as the main lines, employs the task-based teaching model as the writing method, and assesses students' English reading proficiency and comprehensive language skills through four parts: "Pre-reading, Reading, Putting it all Together, Additional Practice." It also integrates cultural background, learning strategies, emotional attitudes, and other aspects of learning into a large number of exercises. Considering the current situation of China's regional college entrance and high school entrance examinations, we have also specially arranged some common exercise types found in China's standardized tests.
