Instructions for the Reading Comprehension Section:

2. When doing mock exercises, pay attention to time management. According to the CET-4 exam standards, reading comprehension questions are allotted 35 minutes. Follow this principle to allocate your time accordingly. Reference time: 8–9 minutes per passage. If a passage in this unit is particularly long, you may extend the time by 1–2 minutes. After completing the exercises, check your answers against the reference answers and explanations.
