Features: When facing Cai Liangzheng's translation of Pushkin's poetry, I often sit there for a long time. Pushkin is not only a great writer and poet of Russia but also a symbol of Russian humanistic spirit. His name is already very familiar to the Chinese people. I learned about the translator Cai Liangzheng's name from the dual translations in the 1950s. As for the poet Mu Dan, he seemed to have vanished from the Chinese landscape for a period of time until recently when he was rediscovered by the public. The world-renowned great Russian poet Pushkin, born into an aristocratic family, was exposed to a wide range of literature from a young age. At that time, the autocratic rule of the Russian Tsar led to the country's backwardness and the people's suffering, and the consecutive wars only made things worse. Pushkin used his pen as a weapon to write many satirical poems criticizing the Tsar and his lackeys. He encouraged people to fight against this unreasonable system. He also wrote many moving lyrical poems that depicted the customs and traditions of Russia and expressed his own emotions. The translator of this poetry collection, Cai Liangzheng (pen name Mu Dan), is proficient in Russian and well-versed in Russian literature. What is particularly remarkable is that the translator himself is also an outstanding poet, making his translation of Pushkin's poems even more harmonious and complementary.
