Are there any signs before delivery?

Patient's question:

After being pregnant for so long, it's finally time for the due date, but there's still no movement in my stomach. It's already delayed by two days, and there are still no abnormalities. When I went for a thorough check-up, the doctor said the cervix hasn't dilated yet and told me to focus on waiting. I'm both anxious and worried, as this is my first time experiencing this situation. What kind of help would you like: Are there any signs before labor?

Doctor's answer:

Actually, about a week or two before labor, you might feel a sensation of heaviness in your abdomen. Experienced adults can notice that your stomach has started to rise. Additionally, you may occasionally experience mild, intermittent pain, similar to what you feel when your period is approaching. But it will only last for a short while and then pass. When labor truly begins, you might either see some blood first or your water might break. If your water breaks, the sensation is something you cannot control. Alternatively, you might first experience contractions. Contractions are pains that come in a regular pattern. They have already started but are not yet severe, and the pain is something you can fully endure. However, they will occur at regular intervals, such as every ten minutes, with each contraction lasting about thirty seconds.
