Features: Chen Jinsong, pen name Jing Song. Born in December 1936, in Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. Started working in July 1954 and joined the army in January 1956. Holds a junior college education. Served as the Station Head of the Journalist Station of the People's Liberation Army Daily, the Director of the Propaganda Department of the Political Department of the Second Artillery Corps, and the Deputy President and President of the "Changying" Magazine of the Second Artillery Corps. Holds the rank of Major General and the professional title of Level 5. Currently serves as the Chief Editor of the "Military Retiree Friend" Magazine in Beijing and is concurrently a Special Research Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Arts. Engaged in military news and publishing work for over 40 years, covering many major events and writing numerous influential news pieces. Has published over 1,500 reports and essays, as well as more than 320 academic papers and news research articles. Among them, 68 pieces were awarded as outstanding works, and over 50 were included in 38 books. The report "A White Monument," the literary report "A Brilliant Star in Traditional Chinese Medicine," and the news paper "The Prerequisite for Guidance is Audience Willingness to Accept" were respectively awarded the First Prize and Special Prize of the National Writing Competition "Light of the Chinese Continent." Authored books such as "Golden Shield and Divine Sword," "Record of Rocket Force Heroes" (co-authored), and "Exploring the Art of Writing." Has received multiple awards and honors, including the title of Outstanding Journalist and Outstanding Communist Party Member. His diligent writing career has been featured in many newspapers and magazines, such as the Beijing Daily and Military Journalist, and was included in the "Great Dictionary of Chinese Experts."
