Features: Scientificity in ideological and political education is the self-awareness of those engaged in it. Ideological and political education is a double-edged sword, capable of both motivating and suppressing people. It has the power to inspire people's enterprising spirit while also potentially suppressing their creative consciousness. Consciously reflecting on oneself and promptly identifying and eliminating non-scientific weaknesses in one's own ideological and political education is our responsibility and the fundamental condition for the sound operation of ideological and political education. Historical experience tells us that ideological and political education is often susceptible to interference from non-scientific factors. There are those who treat it merely as a profession, and those who view it merely as a tool from the external environment—all of which are disrespectful to the nature of ideological and political education as a science. Moreover, when ideological and political education encounters difficulties, it is often prone to losing its calmness in upholding scientificity, and when it progresses smoothly, it may easily overlook vigilance against non-scientific tendencies. In other words, the risk of anti-scientific tendencies exists both in smooth and challenging times. It is also easily affected by the interference of non-scientific judgments caused by misconceptions such as the "omnipotence theory" or the "uselessness theory" of ideological and political education. Therefore, we should always remain vigilant against interference from non-scientific factors.
