Features: With the improvement of people's living standards, more and more families are choosing to renovate their homes or move into newly built houses. However, after the renovation is completed, every family tends to have some regrets, because most of them are new to home renovation and lack experience in both the craftsmanship and construction procedures. As a result, after the renovation is finished, they often exclaim, "Renovation is truly an art of regrets!" It is precisely to prevent others from making the same mistakes and to provide a reference for future renovations that we organized the writing of "100 Examples of Regrets in Home Renovation."
Part of this book is written by homeowners who have personally experienced the joys and sorrows of renovating their homes. We believe that the problems they encountered and the easily overlooked details during the renovation process can offer valuable insights for those about to embark on a renovation, helping them avoid unnecessary troubles.
The second part of the book is written by professionals in the field of home decoration, who provide expert advice that can guide those preparing for renovation. We are confident that their (advice) will be beneficial to everyone.
The appendix includes a directory of the Shanghai Home Decoration Visible Market, some home decoration and building material markets in Shanghai, and some home decoration enterprises in Shanghai, as well as the price list for labor costs formulated by the Home Decoration Committee of the Shanghai Construction Decoration Association. We believe that this will be very convenient for those about to renovate.
