Patient's question:
The menstruation has been flowing continuously without stopping. I initially thought it was due to my diet, but after a few days of improvement, it returned. I then bought medication, which helped somewhat, but it appeared again after a short while. The date was clearly not due yet, and the amount was also slightly more than usual. After asking a doctor, I learned it was called "menstrual leukorrhea." I'd like to understand what dietary methods can help with this condition.Doctor's answer:
There are many dietary therapy methods for turbid urine.1. One method:
- 1 pig head bone
- 18 grams each of calcined dragon bone, cottonseed, and bai cao shuang
- Sufficient huangjiu (yellow wine).
Burn the pig head bone until it is charred, calcine the dragon bone, and roast the cottonseed. Then grind the cottonseed, bai cao shuang, and calcined dragon bone into a fine powder. Mix them together.
Take 24 grams each time, with huangjiu as the vehicle. It is best to induce a slight sweat.
2. Another method:
- 800 grams each of fresh lotus root, fresh white radish, and fresh drought-lotus grass.
Wash the herbs, crush them thoroughly, and squeeze the juice through clean gauze. Add sufficient rock sugar (as much as you like). This method is suitable for turbid urine due to kidney yin deficiency.
3. A third method:
- 1000 grams of wheat bran
- 30 grams of bai cao shuang
- 250 grams of brown sugar.
Mix the wheat bran, bai cao shuang, and brown sugar with hot water to form 100-gram cakes. Steam the cakes on a steamer and take 1 cake each morning and evening on an empty stomach with plain water.
