Patient's question:
I just graduated and found a training position. I consulted many doctors who said I have fluid accumulation. I want to ask what caused this fluid accumulation. I also want to ask which hospital I should go to for the fluid accumulation.Doctor's answer:
Hydrosalpinx refers to the accumulation of infectious pathogens in the fallopian tubes, leading to edema of the endometrium, interstitial edema, and exudates due to the shedding of the fallopian tube mucosal epithelium and the infiltration of white blood cells. If acute salpingitis is not treated promptly and effectively, it may result in the formation of an abscess in the fallopian tubes. Hydrosalpinx is often caused by factors such as childbirth, miscarriage, unclean sexual intercourse, neglect of menstrual hygiene after gynecological surgery, or inflammation. It may also be caused by inflammation of adjacent organs, such as appendicitis and peritonitis.
