Publish Date: 2005-09-01
Features: The Wuhan Criminal Law Forum is equipped with fixed columns such as "Current Theoretical Frontiers," "Basic Theories," "Foreign Criminal Law," and "Criminology." It primarily publishes research papers in disciplines such as "Chinese Criminal Law," "Foreign Criminal Law," "Comparative Criminal Law," "Criminal Policy," "Criminal Procedure Law," "Criminology," and "Penology." Our purpose is to take great interest and enthusiasm in major theoretical and practical issues in the field of criminal law. We value both the philosophical and humanistic foundations of criminal law and conduct deep, speculative research on them, while also emphasizing the practical nature of criminal law, exploring challenging and novel issues in judicial practice. Adhering to the principle of "let a hundred flowers bloom and let a hundred schools of thought contend," we advocate independent thinking and free dialogue in academic research, embracing diverse theoretical perspectives and academic styles. As a new publication or emerging phenomenon, we cannot expect the Wuhan Criminal Law Forum to be perfect from the outset. However, we are determined to make it distinctive and achieve excellence through our efforts. Of course, beyond the organizers' determination and perseverance, we need the care and support of all colleagues who are concerned with theoretical research and judicial practice in criminal law. Let us use our hard work and heartfelt dedication to nurture this young sapling, helping it grow into a towering tree with lush leaves and abundant fruits, showcasing its unique charm in the garden of law.
