Features: "Clean Energy Promotion Policy Application and Analysis" is a project jointly funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA). Its main purpose and tasks are to evaluate existing policies, identify existing problems and shortcomings, summarize existing experience, assess policy needs, propose improvement suggestions, and promote the implementation of the Clean Energy Action Plan. This book is formed by summarizing and synthesizing the series of policies and measures adopted by 18 pilot cities to implement the Clean Energy Action Plan. It is divided into two parts: the first part provides a general introduction to the policies and measures adopted by the pilot cities and the general content and methods of policy analysis; the second part is case studies, primarily applying the aforementioned principles to analyze and evaluate the applicability of policies and measures such as energy substitution, energy conservation and efficiency, clean coal technology, renewable energy, and management and operational mechanisms. The main research and analytical conclusions are as follows:
1. The necessity of conducting research on clean energy promotion policies;
2. The types and characteristics of promotion policies;
3. The general steps and methods of promotion policy analysis;
4. The application and evaluation of promotion policies in the Clean Energy Action Plan;
5. The comprehensive evaluation and analysis of promotion policies;
