How to treat cervical erosion

Patient's question:

I have been treated for cervical erosion with BBT surgery, but the desquamated surface is still red and not the pink color the doctor described. Additionally, sometimes there is bloody leukorrhea, so is it not fully recovered yet?

Doctor's answer:

After the treatment for cervical erosion, there needs to be a period of thorough recovery. Sometimes, there may still be bloody leukorrhea, which may not be fully cured. It is possible to focus on treatment after 3 months.
Reason 1: Unhygienic sexual activity: Once sexual activity occurs between both partners, the vagina is relatively in an "open" state. During sexual activity, the penis comes into direct contact with the cervix. If the male does not pay attention to sexual hygiene, bacteria can be directly introduced into the vagina, infecting the cervix and causing cervical erosion.
Reason 2: Multiple induced abortions: Multiple induced abortions can lead to varying degrees of cervical injury, providing an opportunity for bacteria to thrive and cause cervical inflammation. Due to the stimulation of inflammation, local secretion increases. If the cervix is exposed to inflammatory secretions for a long time, cervical erosion may occur.
