Features: The key issues to study in sketching are "form" and "color." Form includes proportion and structure. Color includes volume and the relationship between black, white, and gray. The problem of form—finding the image through large proportions, as "proportion equals image." Structure discusses the connection and interweaving relationships of the basic forms of each part. The problem of color—shaping the depicted object by finding "large volumes." The relationship between black, white, and gray must be well-defined. The relationship between long-term and short-term assignments in sketching training is an important topic in the foundational training of. Long-term assignments are an essential training component for in-depth research and exploration of rules, requiring students to master a substantial amount of anatomical knowledge, structural knowledge, and surface knowledge, as well as scientific observation methods and expression techniques. Only in this way can they continuously delve into their work and achieve the training objectives of long-term assignments. However, such training alone is insufficient. We equally emphasize the need for students to return to short-term assignments, as only by doing so can they truly understand and internalize knowledge, and express the subject vividly and freely, thus completing the training process. Different observation habits, perspectives, and ways of thinking about things and people will all influence the style and form of the artwork. Therefore, we must first cultivate our reverse thinking, habits of zooming in or out, and use associative and combinatory thinking to approach things. Thus, candidates must not overlook the cultivation of observation habits, perspectives, and ways of thinking.
