Features: Spatial design research typically focuses on two major subjects: outdoor spatial environments and indoor spatial environments, as the core content for related course studies. It includes aspects such as the composition of space, the style of space, and the expression of space. It primarily addresses formal analysis of style, spatial analysis, and structural analysis; it also covers aspects such as the design process, design methods, design practice, and design outcomes. From the implementation of these related content and the design process, first, spatial design must begin with the focus on the "genius loci" of space to set the stage for design. This primarily involves analyzing the regional environment (including natural conditions, cultural and social factors, architectural environment, and other elements), and on this basis, conducting research on the functional characteristics, structural characteristics, and morphological characteristics of space. Second, design research is carried out using spatial design methods. The research process aims at determining a specific spatial theme style and explores design concepts around this theme style. During the creative design process, researchers identify and solve problems, thereby reaching the design entry point and design approach. Then, based on the clear design concept, the global design of the space is carried out step by step according to the design approach.
