Features: With the establishment of the socialist market economy system, construction enterprises in China have comprehensively implemented construction project management. Construction project management refers to the systematic decision-making, planning, organization, control, and coordination of all activities related to a construction project from bidding to the expiration of the warranty period. The main body of construction project management is the construction enterprise, its object is the construction project, and the content of management is divided into stages. The primary issue in construction project management is establishing a sound construction project management organization. This organization is an organic whole composed of certain leadership systems, departmental settings, hierarchical divisions, division of responsibilities, rules and regulations, and information management systems. A power system, responsibility system, interest system, and information system formed within the framework of a rational and effective organizational structure serve as the organizational guarantee for implementing construction project management and achieving the final goals. To adapt to the situation where China's construction industry has aligned with international standards after joining the WTO, construction enterprises are gradually establishing and improving construction project management systems suitable for their own development through strong organizational measures and regulations, enhancing technical and management standards, and thereby improving their market competitiveness. However, due to the actual conditions of some enterprises, the relevant management systems still need further enrichment and improvement. In light of this situation, the authors have integrated advanced management models from several major construction groups in Beijing, absorbing and learning from internationally recognized engineering management practices, experiences, and modern management methods. By drawing on the strengths of various approaches and combining ISO 9000 quality management, ISO 14000 environmental management, the GB/T 28000 occupational health and safety management series standards, and modern enterprise management systems, the book lists numerous examples of management systems and job responsibilities for the current organizational structure and job composition of construction projects. It breaks down advanced management concepts into specific departments and positions, aiming to provide some reference and guidance for construction project management personnel. The book is detailed, concise, and focused, with strong applicability and operability, serving as a guide and reference. Its content is divided into five chapters, mainly including construction project management systems, construction project job responsibilities, construction project safety responsibility systems, main construction machinery operation procedures, and pre-job notices for construction operators. It primarily lists more than 180 examples of management systems, job responsibilities, and pre-job notices for relevant personnel in departments such as the Engineering Department, Technology Department, Quality Inspection Department, Business Department, Finance Department, Materials Department, Safety Department, and Logistics Department. During the writing process, the book referenced the works of domestic scholars and some practical project management experiences, and was also greatly supported and appreciated by fellow construction professionals. The authors express their heartfelt gratitude for this.
