Nonsensical PK classic literature, laugh-inducing and stomach-churning will drive you crazy! In the world, what fears the most is the word "serious," and our book's protagonist is someone who preaches "seriousness." He travels thousands of miles from the Eastern Land of Tang to the Western Heaven to seek the True Scriptures. But anyone with a normal mind wouldn't do such a thing. Yet he did, and with such determination and purity. He is Xuanzang, a golden Zen seed who once listened to sutras under Buddha's feet in a past life and was also one of the ten most famous disciples of Buddha. Only because he slightly lost focus while listening to the sutras, Buddha demoted him to the mortal world, entrusting him with the mission of seeking the True Scriptures. He endured the joys and sorrows of human life, separation, and hardship.
In truth, the matter is far more complex than it appears. It was because the Buddha of the Burning River abdicated, and Sakyamuni ascended the throne to take the high-ranking leader's position. But everything has cause and effect. Although Sakyamuni managed the gods and demons perfectly, he could not escape being replaced by Maitreya Buddha one day. The reason is simple—just as he replaced the Buddha of the Burning River, gods and demons also have turnover. It would be better to let his own disciple inherit the position than to replace himself with a half-naked god who only knows how to smile.
Thus, his beloved disciple, the Golden Zen Seed, was inexplicably drawn into this power struggle among the gods and demons. And that's how the story of Hixiuji (Joyful Journey) came into being. Down from the mortal world, the Golden Zen Seed embarked on a long journey alongside the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, who was demoted for smashing the Jade Emperor's palace; the Dragon Prince of the Western Sea, who was demoted for burning the Jade Emperor's precious pearl; the Heaven-Penetrating Marshal, who was demoted for flirting with the Jade Emperor's favorite actress; and the Curtain-Pulling General, who was demoted for breaking the Jade Emperor's crystal lamp. So many enemies of the Jade Emperor gathered together, starting a long and arduous journey.
A story arranged by Sakyamuni, a book written by a half-crazy Kizi—how can you not read it? Give me a reason first!
Joy Trip
