Features: The Fudan Poetry Faction is not a poetic style or school, but a poetic group. The vast majority of members of the Fudan Poetry Faction were once members of the Fudan Poetry Society. It was the Fudan Poetry Society that brought together these friends from different periods spanning two decades under the banner of poetry. The centennial celebration of Fudan gave us this opportunity. The Fudan Poetry Faction is not a poetic school and does not have a common poetic manifesto; there is only a shared experience. However, this does not prevent us from finding commonalities in the poets of the Fudan Poetry Faction. Our lives chose poetry because our understanding of poetry aligns with our understanding of life. We have basked in the sunlight of poetry and have ungrudgingly embraced its, because poets are eyes in the darkness. Only those who have experienced various ways of life, after comparing the merits and flaws of different modes of existence, can make a truly valuable choice.
