Fang Guanghua, male, was born in Yiyang, Hunan in January 1966. He holds a doctorate in history and is the Dean of the College of Arts and Archaeology at Northwest University, serving as a professor and doctoral supervisor. He has published works such as The Academic History of Modern Chinese Historiography (co-author, China Social Sciences Press, 1996), A Biography of Liu Shipei (Jiangxi Baihua Zhouwenyipin Press, 1996), Essays on the History of Chinese Thought and Academic History (Shaanxi People's Publishing House, 2002), and Essays on the History of Modern Chinese Thought and Academic History (co-author, Shaanxi People's Publishing House, 2003). He has also participated in the compilation of textbooks such as The History of China (six volumes), Chinese Traditional Culture, and Fifteen Lectures on the History of China. The Chinese Traditional Culture course he led was recognized as one of the first national-level excellent courses.
