Features: I'm Arnold. You won't believe it, but we've actually seen sharks with our own eyes! We saw many different kinds of sharks; experienced their amazing sensory abilities; learned about the teeth of various sharks. This isn't just an adventure because I became the hero in everyone's eyes. Join me on this journey! Recommended by the National Library of the United States for all preschool children and elementary school students as extracurricular natural science reading material. The most popular children's natural science book series in the United States. Awarded the most valuable children's non-fiction book by the Boston Globe and Horn Book. Winner of the Boston Globe Award. Selected as the best children's book by the American Booksellers Association. Awarded the "Magical Reading" award for non-fiction by the American Education Journal. Received five-star reviews from The New York Times Book Review and Amazon readers. The Magic School Bus goes to the beach, turns into a helicopter, transforms into a submarine on the surface, and dives underwater. The students first discovered the huge whale shark, with its dark gray skin dotted with pale yellow spots and lines. The whale shark filters a large amount of seawater, feeding on plankton, and has a very gentle temperament, enjoying the company of small boats the same length as itself. There is even a whale shark in a aquarium in Taiwan now. The great white shark is a fierce killer in the sea, with huge teeth. When it puffs out its chest fin and arches its back, it's a sign that it's about to attack. The flat angel shark has broad pectoral fins and lies hidden on the sandy bottom, both preying on animals and often being eaten by other sharks. The ghost shark has a long snout at the front of its head. The longtail shark has a tail fin almost as long as its body. The hammerhead shark is a fierce animal with a head like a mine sweeper, able to locate prey like a wolf pack in a grassland and surround it for hunting. The students also followed Ms. Frizzle in driving the submarine into the stomach of a tiger shark, where they saw it filled with leftover food, like a big trash can. It's important to know that no matter the size of the shark, its teeth are constantly growing and replenishing. The flat skate is a close relative of the shark, with over 400 species. The fast-swimming mako shark has many "hitchhiker" marks on its body, which are fish that attach to the shark using suction cups on their heads. Our submarine also uses suction cups to attach to the mako shark, shortening the journey and time to return to the shore on time.
Children! Throughout the underwater exploration journey, although we didn't see all the sharks, we encountered dozens of species, which are very representative. There are gentle sharks like the whale shark, as well as fierce ones like the great white shark. Thinking back on this journey, we've gained so much knowledge and experience!
